Acton Lake Vacation and Resort Properties

Acton Lake is impounded by Acton Lake Dam on Four Mile Creek in Butler County, Ohio and is used for recreation purposes. Construction of Acton Lake Dam was completed in 1956. At normal levels it has a surface area of 560 acres. The lake property is owned by Ohio DNR, Division of Parks & Recreation.

 

Acton Lake was formed in 1956 by a dam on a creek in southwestern Ohio, now within Hueston Woods State Park. The park has hiking trails, a lodge and a golf course.
