Amoskeag, central New Hampshire
Amoskeag Dam is on the Merrimack River in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire and is used for hydroelectric power purposes. Construction was completed in 1921. At normal levels it has a surface area of 478 acres. It is owned by Public Service Company Of New Hamphire.
