Batavia Kill Watershed Dam 4a, central New York

Siam Rd-gerald Kirk Memorial Dam is formed by Batavia Kill Watershed Dam #4A Dam on the Batavia Kill River in Greene County, New York and is used for flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1967. It has a normal surface area of 10 acres. It is owned by Greene County Batavia Kill Watershed District.

 

Batavia Kill Watershed Dam #4a, also known as Siam Rd-gerald Kirk Memorial Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 57 feet with a length of 1400 feet. Maximum discharge is 29988 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 2928 acre feet. Normal storage is 43 acre feet. It drains an area of 6.8 square miles.
