Bell, northeast Alabama

Bell Dam is on a tributary of Cane Creek in Cleburne County, Alabama and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1973. It is owned by Bill Bell.

 

Bell is of earthen construction. Its length is 150 feet. Maximum discharge is 700 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 70 acre feet. Normal storage is 30 acre feet.
