Big Dalton, southeast CaliforniaBig Dalton Dam is on the Big Dalton Wash in Los Angeles County, California and is used for drinking water, fish and wildlife protection and flood control, among other things. Construction was completed in 1929. At normal levels it has a surface area of 26 acres. It is owned by Los Angeles County Department Of Public Works. Its height is 153 feet with a length of 480 feet. Normal storage is 1290 acre feet. It drains an area of 4.3 square miles.
