Bobben Lake, southcentral Georgia

Bobben Lake is on Hardy Mill Creek in Berrien County, Georgia and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1968. It has a normal surface area of 64 acres. It is owned by the State Of Georgia Department Of Natural Reservoirurces.

 

Bobben Lake Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 11 feet with a length of 2120 feet. Maximum discharge is 90 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 320 acre feet. Normal storage is 256 acre feet. It drains an area of 64 square miles.
