Boerne City Lake, central Texas

Boerne City Lake is formed by Upper Cibolo Creek Watershed Services Site 1 Dam on Cibolo Creek in Kendall County, Texas and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1978. Its normal surface area is 189 acres. It is owned by Kendall Swcd.

 

Upper Cibolo Creek Ws Scs Site 1 Dam, also known as Boerne City Lake Dam is of earthen construction. The core is earth. The foundation is soil. Its height is 89 feet with a length of 6130 feet. Maximum discharge is 43756 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 15668 acre feet. Normal storage is 4043 acre feet. It drains an area of 19.8 square miles.
