It has a normal surface area of 105 acres. It is owned by Kittery Water District. Boulter Dam is concrete, of earthen construction. Its length is 1045 feet. Maximum discharge is 2530 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 2444 acre feet. Normal storage is 1995 acre feet.
