Boykin Lake, east Texas

Boykin Lake is on Boykin Creek in Jasper County, Texas and is used for recreation purposes. It has been been there since 1938. It is owned by United States Forest Service.

 

Boykin Lake Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 17 feet with a length of 300 feet. Its capacity is 126 acre feet. Normal storage is 50 acre feet.
