Though originally completed in 1937, the structure was modified in 1994. Its height is 146 feet with a length of 10987 feet. Maximum discharge is 1.33939e+06 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 982000 acre feet. Normal storage is 846303 acre feet. It drains an area of 50.06 square miles.
