Buck Island Auxiliary Dam is on Rockbound Creek in El Dorado County, California and is used for hydroelectric power and recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1963. At normal levels it has a surface area of 78 acres. It is owned by Sacramento Municipal Utility District.
