Butler Pond, northeast New YorkButler Pond is on a tributary of Glen Lake River in Warren County, New York and is used for drinking water purposes. Construction was completed in 1914. At normal levels it has a surface area of 64 acres. It is owned by the City Of Glens Falls. Butler Pond Dam is of earthen construction, a gravity dam. Its height is 13.5 feet with a length of 230 feet. Maximum discharge is 700 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 422 acre feet. Normal storage is 269 acre feet. It drains an area of 1.5 square miles.
