Calallen Reservoir, southeast Texas

Calallen Reservoir is on the Nueces River in Nueces County, Texas. Construction was completed in 1914. It is owned by the City Of Corpus Christi.

 

Calallen Reservoir Dam is rock fill, a gravity dam. The core is assumed to be homogeneous, earth. The foundation is assumed to be rock, soil. Its height is 6 feet with a length of 195 feet. Its capacity is 1275 acre feet. Normal storage is 1175 acre feet.
