Caley Woods Wildlife Lake, northcentral Ohio

Caley Woods Wildlife Lake is on a tributary to Wellington Creek in Lorain County, Ohio and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1987. It has a normal surface area of 8.5 acres. It is owned by Lorain Co. Metropolitan Park District.

 

Caley Woods Wildlife Lake Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 19.2 feet with a length of 680 feet. Maximum discharge is 497 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 87.8 acre feet. Normal storage is 36.8 acre feet. It drains an area of 0.06 square miles.
