Cane Creek Watershed Structure 3, west Georgia

Cane Creek Watershed Str #3 Dam is on Jacks Creek in Meriwether County, Georgia and is used for flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1966. It has a normal surface area of 30.5 acres. It is owned by Roosevelt Soil and Water Conservation District.

 

Cane Creek W/s Str #3 is of earthen construction. Its height is 39 feet with a length of 410 feet. Maximum discharge is 1340 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 1639 acre feet. Normal storage is 138 acre feet. It drains an area of 2968 square miles.
