Caples Lake Vacation and Resort Properties

Caples Lake on a tributary of Silver Fork River is in Alpine County, California and is used for drinking water, and , among other things. Construction was completed in 1922. At normal levels it has a surface area of 620 acres. The site is also known as Twin Lake. It is property of El Dorado Irrigation Dist.
