Chouteau Lock And Dam, northeast Oklahoma
Chouteau Lock and Dam is on the Verdigris River in Wagoner County, Oklahoma and is used for improved navigation purposes. Construction was completed in 1970. At normal levels it has a surface area of 3.5 square miles. It is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
