Clear Lake, northcentral Oregon
Clear Lake is impounded by Wasco Dam on Clear Creek in Wasco County, Oregon and is used for irrigation purposes. Construction was completed in 1958. At normal levels it has a surface area of 557 acres. It is owned by Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation.
Wasco, also known as Clear Lake is of earthen construction. Its height is 59 feet with a length of 1901 feet. Maximum discharge is 16200 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 11900 acre feet. Normal storage is 11900 acre feet. It drains an area of 8 square miles.
