Colebrook River Lake Vacation and Resort Properties

Colebrook River Lake is created by Colebrook River Dam on the West Branch Farmington River in Litchfield County, Connecticut and is used for flood control, drinking water and recreation purposes. Construction of Colebrook River Dam was completed in 1969. At normal levels it has a surface area of 1.2 square miles. It is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lake property.

 

 

A 750-acre lake is used as a standby water supply, and is available seasonally for fishing and boating. The lake is stocked with trout. A large boat ramp is available.
