Condy, east Alabama

Condy Dam is on a tributary of Halawakee Creek in Lee County, Alabama and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1955. It is owned by E A Barks.

 

Condy is of earthen construction. Its length is 500 feet. Maximum discharge is 212 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 40 acre feet. Normal storage is 30 acre feet.
