Council Grove Lake, east Kansas
Council Grove Lake is on the Grand Neosho River in Morris County, Kansas and is used for flood control, drinking water and recreation, among other things. Construction was completed in 1964. It has a normal surface area of 5.1 square miles. It is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
