Creighton 2, northeast Alabama

Creighton 2 is impounded by Creighton No. 2 Dam on a tributary of Chulafinnee Creek in Cleburne County, Alabama and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1950. It is owned by R W Cuthill.

 

Creighton No. 2 is of earthen construction. Its length is 305 feet. Maximum discharge is 251 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 62 acre feet. Normal storage is 44 acre feet.
