Creighton No 1, northeast Alabama

Creighton No 1 Dam is on a tributary of Chulafinnee Creek in Cleburne County, Alabama and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1950. It is owned by R W Cuthill.

 

Creighton No 1 is of earthen construction. Its length is 450 feet. Maximum discharge is 400 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 50 acre feet. Normal storage is 20 acre feet.
