Deer Point Dam, northwest Florida

Deer Point Dam is on Econfina Creek in Bay County, Florida and is used for drinking water and recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1963. It is owned by the State Of Florida and Bayco.

 

Its length is 1440 feet. Its capacity is 8250 acre feet. Normal storage is 8250 acre feet.
