Deerfield Lock, east Florida

Deerfield Lock Dam is on the Hillsboro Canal River in Palm Beach County, Florida and is used for flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1920. It is owned by Sfwmd (Past C&Sf Flood Control District).

 

Its length is 65 feet. Maximum discharge is 1600 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 2100 acre feet. Normal storage is 1405 acre feet.
