Diamond Hill Reservoir, Rhode Island
Pawtucket Upper Reservoir Dam is the result of Diamond Hill Reservoir on the Burnt Swamp Brook in Providence County, Rhode Island and is used for drinking water purposes. Construction was completed in 1971. Its normal surface area is 390 acres. It is owned by the City Of Pawtucket, Water Supply Board.
Diamond Hill Reservoir Dam, also known as Pawtucket Upper Res Dam is of earthen construction, a gravity dam, concrete. Its height is 80 feet with a length of 2000 feet. Maximum discharge is 3100 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 15680 acre feet. Normal storage is 11000 acre feet. It drains an area of 8.4 square miles.
