Eastman Falls, central New Hampshire

Eastman Falls Dam is on the Pemigewasset River in Merrimack County, New Hampshire and is used for hydroelectric power purposes. It has been been there since 1937. It has a normal surface area of 530 acres. It is owned by Public Service Company Of New Hamphire.

 

Eastman Falls is concrete, a gravity dam. Its height is 43 feet with a length of 414 feet. Maximum discharge is 75000 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 9340 acre feet. Normal storage is 4570 acre feet. It drains an area of 1003 square miles.
