Echo Lake, Rhode Island
Echo Lake is impounded by Pascoag Reservoir Upper Dam on the Brandy Brook in Providence County, Rhode Island and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1860. It has a normal surface area of 500 acres. It is owned by Pascoag Upper Dam Association.
Pascoag Reservoir Upper Dam, also known as Echo Lake is a gravity dam, of earthen construction. Its height is 27 feet with a length of 475 feet. Maximum discharge is 1020 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 9000 acre feet. Normal storage is 5000 acre feet. It drains an area of 8 square miles.
