El Dorado Lake Vacation and Resort Properties

El Dorado Lake on the Walnut River is in Butler County, Kansas and is used for flood control, drinking water and recreation, among other things. Construction was completed in 1981. At normal levels it has a surface area of 13.1 square miles. It is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lake property.
