Emigrant Lake, southwest Oregon
Emigrant Lake is formed by Emigrant Dam on Emigrant Creek in Jackson County, Oregon and is used for irrigation, recreation and flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1923. It has a normal surface area of 1.3 square miles. It is owned by Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation.
Emigrant, also known as Emigrant Lake is of earthen construction. Its height is 204 feet with a length of 1902 feet. Maximum discharge is 10280 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 39000 acre feet. Normal storage is 39000 acre feet. It drains an area of 62 square miles.
