Northern Canal Wall is created by Great River Wall (Grw) Dam on the Northern Canal River in Middlesex County, Massachusetts and is used for hydroelectric power, recreation, improved navigation, and flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1848. Its normal surface area is 1.1 square miles. It is owned by Us National Park Service.
