Grigg Lake, east Virginia

Grigg Lake is created by Va Industrial School Dam on Mohawk Creek in Powhatan County, Virginia and is used for recreation purposes. It has been been there since 1930. It is owned by Dept Of Corrections.

 

Va Industrial School Dam, also known as Grigg Lake is of earthen construction. Its height is 19 feet Its capacity is 129 acre feet. Normal storage is 63 acre feet.
