Hendrickson Dam, east Florida

Shell Creek Dam is formed by Hendrickson Dam on Shell Creek in Charlotte County, Florida and is used for drinking water purposes. Construction was completed in 1965. It is owned by the City Of Punta Gorda.

 

Its length is 1000 feet. Maximum discharge is 30836 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 10500 acre feet. Normal storage is 2450 acre feet.
