Hog Thief Creek Lake, northcentral Arkansas
Hog Thief Creek Lake is formed by Des Arc Bayou Watershed Improvement District Site 1 Dam on Hog Thief Creek in White County, Arkansas and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1981. It has a normal surface area of 40 acres. It is owned by Des Arc Bayou Watershed Improvement District.
Des Arc Bayou Wid Site 1, also known as Hog Thief Creek Lake Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 44 feet with a length of 1304 feet. Maximum discharge is 964 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 933 acre feet. Normal storage is 475 acre feet. It drains an area of 1.6 square miles.
