Ingram Lake, southeast Alabama

Ingram Lake is on Cowarts Creek in Houston County, Alabama and is used for recreation purposes. It was built in 1945. It is owned by James E Kilgow.

 

Ingram Lake is of earthen construction, a gravity dam. Its length is 251 feet. Maximum discharge is 16 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 73 acre feet. Normal storage is 47 acre feet.
