J. C. S Lunker Lagoon, central MissouriJ. C. South Lunker Lagoon Dam is on a tributary of Dry Fork-Bourbeuse River in Gasconade County, Missouri and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1979. At normal levels it has a surface area of 15 acres. It is owned by Jerry Gorski. J. C. S Lunker Lagoon is of earthen construction. The core is assumed to be homogeneous, earth. The foundation is assumed to be rock. Though originally completed in 1979, the structure was modified in 1996. Its height is 44 feet with a length of 650 feet. Maximum discharge is 679 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 232 acre feet. Normal storage is 211 acre feet. It drains an area of 128 square miles.
