Kentucky River Lock and Dam 1, Kentucky

Kentucky River Lock and Dam 1 on the Kentucky River in Carroll County, Kentucky is used for improved navigation and recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1839. It has a normal surface area of 2 square miles. It is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
