Kentucky River Lock and Dam 4, Kentucky

Kentucky River Lock and Dam 4 on the Kentucky River in Franklin County, Kentucky is used for improved navigation, recreation, fish and wildlife protection and drinking water purposes. Construction was completed in 1844. At normal levels it has a surface area of 1.7 square miles. It is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
