Kentucky River Lock and Dam 5 on the Kentucky River in Anderson County, Kentucky is used for improved navigation and recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1844. Its normal surface area is 1.1 square miles. It is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
