Kentucky River Lock and Dam 6, east Kentucky

Kentucky River Lock and Dam 6 on the Kentucky River in Woodford County, Kentucky is used for improved navigation and recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1891. It has a normal surface area of 1.5 square miles. It is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
