Kentucky River Lock and Dam 8 on the Kentucky River in Jessamine County, Kentucky is used for improved navigation and recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1900. It has a normal surface area of 573 acres. It is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
