Kickapoo Lake, east Texas

Kickapoo Lake is on a tributary of Running Creek in Leon County, Texas and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1964. It is owned by the City Of Hilltop Lakes.

 

Kickapoo Lake Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 22 feet with a length of 550 feet. Maximum discharge is 2856 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 188 acre feet. Normal storage is 128 acre feet.
