Kr-3, southeast Minnesota
Kr-3 Dam is on North Fork Cascade Creek in Olmsted County, Minnesota and is used for flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1993. It has a normal surface area of 25 acres. It is owned by the City Of Rochester.
Kr-3 is of earthen construction. The core is homogeneous, earth. The foundation is soil. Its height is 30 feet with a length of 1320 feet. Maximum discharge is 6500 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 257 acre feet. Normal storage is 112 acre feet. It drains an area of 1.6 square miles.
