Kr-7, southeast Minnesota
Kr-7 Dam is on a tributary of North Fork Cascade Creek in Olmsted County, Minnesota and is used for flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1994. It has a normal surface area of 48 acres. It is owned by the City Of Rochester.
Kr-7 is of earthen construction. The core is homogeneous, earth. The foundation is soil. Its height is 35 feet with a length of 1970 feet. Maximum discharge is 113 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 763 acre feet. Normal storage is 237 acre feet. It drains an area of 3.8 square miles.
