La No Name 94, southeast Louisiana

New Orleans is the result of La No Name 94 Dam on a tributary of Mississippi River in Orleans County, Louisiana and is used for drinking water purposes. Construction was completed in 1960. Its normal surface area is 22 acres. It is owned by Sewerage and Water Board Of New Orleans.

 

La No Name 94, also known as New Orleans, formerly New Orleans is of earthen construction. The core is assumed to be earth. The foundation is assumed to be soil. Its length is 5130 feet.
