At normal levels it has a surface area of 360 acres. It is owned by Town Of Indian Lake. Lake Abanakee Dam is of earthen construction, a gravity dam. Its height is 15 feet with a length of 240 feet. Maximum discharge is 6870 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 6110 acre feet. Normal storage is 3660 acre feet.
