Lake Buck, east Kentucky

Lake Buck Dam is on the Hays Fork River in Madison County, Kentucky and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1969. It has a normal surface area of 3.8 acres. It is owned by U S Government.

 

Lake Buck Dam, also known as Lake Buck, formerly Lake Buck is of earthen construction. Its height is 22 feet with a length of 500 feet. Its capacity is 150 acre feet. Normal storage is 110.2 acre feet. It drains an area of 0.75 square miles.
