Lake Carl Albert, east Oklahoma
Lake Carl Albert is the result of Scs-Rock Creek Site-02 Dam on Rock Creek in Latimer County, Oklahoma and is used for flood control, drinking water and recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1964. Its normal surface area is 183 acres. It is owned by Town Of Talihina.
Scs-rock Creek Site-02, also known as Lake Carl Albert, formerly Lake Carl Albert is of earthen construction. The core is assumed to be homogeneous, earth. The foundation is assumed to be soil. Its height is 60 feet with a length of 1520 feet. Maximum discharge is 1050 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 5414 acre feet. Normal storage is 2739 acre feet. It drains an area of 6.03 square miles.
