Lake Como, east Texas

Lake Como Dam is on a tributary of Clear Fork Trinity River in Tarrant County, Texas and is used for recreation purposes. It has a normal surface area of 12 acres. It is owned by the City Of Fort Worth.

 

Lake Como Dam is of earthen construction. The foundation is rock, soil. Its height is 51 feet with a length of 750 feet. Maximum discharge is 8739 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 327 acre feet. Normal storage is 232 acre feet. It drains an area of 1.09 square miles.
