Lake Creek Watershed Scs Site 1, east Texas

Lake Creek Watershed Services Site 1 Dam is on Spring Creek in Anderson County, Texas and is used for irrigation purposes. Construction was completed in 1954. At normal levels it has a surface area of 29 acres. It is owned by Anderson Houston Swcd.

 

Lake Creek Ws Scs Site 1 Dam is of earthen construction. The core is homogeneous, earth. The foundation is soil. Its height is 42 feet with a length of 1995 feet. Maximum discharge is 4800 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 4370 acre feet. Normal storage is 247 acre feet. It drains an area of 8.41875 square miles.
